The First Letter of Johnਨਮੂਨਾ

Love In Deed And Truth
This is a call to action. It is one thing to go from a state of hatred or apathy for people into love for people. But then there is a move into action. People do not experience unexpressed love, no matter how much we love them.
Love that doesn’t translate to sacrifice is merely a pleasant sentiment. Real love always leaves its mark. It finds ways to be giving, generous, caring and forgiving. Real love makes a demand on us and will continuously produce action in us.
Devotional Question:
Who is someone I can forgive today? Who is someone I can be generous to this week? How can I care for someone this month who is going through a hard time?
About this Plan

1 John is one of the most quoted books of the Bible, and for a good reason: John understood God’s love in a special way. As we explore the pages of this book, let that be our main goal: to understand the love of God better and better, and to grow closer to Him.
