God's Redemption Story (Exodus - Joshua)ਨਮੂਨਾ

How many of us received instructions or rules from our parents and responded with a whiney, “Why?” Whether we didn’t understand the need or didn’t want to do it, our parents generally explained the purpose of the rule—our health, safety, education, etc.
But God had a different response. When Israelite children asked their parents why God gave them so many rules, parents were to testify of God’s goodness and might in saving them from the Egyptians. They were to worship God and teach their children to do the same.
To Americans, worship is not a natural response to rules. Let’s take some time this week to exercise those worship muscles and thank God for loving us and protecting us.
