I Amਨਮੂਨਾ

Do you ever feel disconnected from God? Do you ever wonder, "Is God really listening to me? Does God even hear my prayers?"
The life of Jesus is proof that God is listening. Jesus came to earth and experienced pain, suffering, and temptation. He served and cared for everyone, even when it didn't make sense to others. All of this is evidence of a God who listens. Throughout the Old Testament, you will read story after story of God's people crying out for help and God sending help. In the New Testament, we see Jesus as another way God's help gets delivered to those who need it.
Those who called out were heard by a loving God. They did not go unnoticed or forgotten. Once Jesus began ministering to those around him, people were able to experience being heard by someone who was part of their own community. Jesus' presence brought them a physical reminder of God's promise to always be with them.
Today, God still hears our cries for help. Through Jesus, we are never disconnected from God. Today's passage says we can boldly approach God's throne of grace with confidence. There we will find God fully present and ready to support us in any situation.
So, when you cry out for someone to see you, or understand what you are going through, God hears and has answered. Jesus' example reminds us we are never far from God's presence, and our prayers matter.

About this Plan

When Jesus was on earth, there were a few times when he told his followers exactly who he was. For the next four weeks, we'll explore some of these stories to find out how Jesus described himself to others. We'll take a look at what changes when we hear Jesus tell us he is love, he is truth, he is always with us, and how he is our Savior.
