The Promise of Christmasਨਮੂਨਾ

Think back to when you were a student. Who was the best teacher or coach you had? What qualities did they display? Were they smart? Were they kind? Maybe they were patient when you had questions. Or maybe they were a great listener. In the same way you learned from that great teacher or coach, we, as believers, have access to God’s Spirit to guide, encourage, and lead us in this life. When we’re unsure or uncertain, we can turn to the wisdom of God’s Spirit in us for assurance of the path we’re to walk.
While that’s true in every season, it’s especially valuable to remember in the Christmas season. There can be so many things that distract us, divide us, and even discourage us during the holidays. Rather than stay lost in that headspace, we turn to God’s Spirit for truth and guidance. We can put our hope in the promise of Christmas!
Is there a place in your life you need that help this season? Ask God for it! If not, maybe there is someone in your life who needs that hope or encouragement. Send them a text and let them know that they can turn to God’s Spirit to lead them through the holidays. Remind them of the hope you have this Christmas season and throughout the year because of God.

About this Plan

The birth of Jesus isn’t just a great story; it’s a real event that shows us not just how God loves us but how God’s people (just like us) had to learn to trust in the face of incredibly difficult and, at times, unbelievable circumstances. We’ll be reminded of the humanity in the story and the faith it takes to believe in the promise of Christmas!
