Real Lifeਨਮੂਨਾ

Think about the best gift you’ve ever received from a loved one. Maybe you’re picturing a huge bouquet of flowers, a fancy piece of jewelry, or even a sentimental handwritten note. The best part of the gift probably wasn’t the item itself, but instead, was the way that it made you feel. The perfect gift can help us feel loved, known, and appreciated. For those of us who have a hard time expressing ourselves with words, gifts can help us show another person just how much we care.
As Christians, it may feel like God has given us a never-ending list of gifts. Each of us has not only been blessed by the ultimate gift of Jesus Christ as our Savior but we’ve also been given the power of the Holy Spirit in each of our lives.
Today, take a few moments out of your day to write a thank you note to God for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes choosing to write words instead of saying them in our minds or out loud helps us to not only process what we want to say but to remember it as well. So, write your gratitude to God for the gift of His Spirit as your advocate.
