Notice what Paul mentions are the results of a life rooted in Christ. He says that we will “Abound in knowledge,” “Be able to discern,” “be filled with the fruit of righteousness,” “gain wisdom and understanding,” and “share in the inheritance.” A life walking with God is not a fruitless or useless walk. When we walk with Him, we experience His blessings and we are then able to bless others.
