Faith & Love: A One Year Bible Reading Plan - Part 9ਨਮੂਨਾ

Paul encouraged the struggling believers that their faith needs to be in God's power, and not in human wisdom, and that God's ultimate wisdom can only be understood spiritually, revealed to human beings through God's Spirit.
Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 2:12:
"What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us."
Paul reminded them that they are not alone in their journey in this world, but they are filled with the divine Holy Spirit, and therefore have access to the knowledge and guidance of God Himself. They are no longer orphans, left to survive, but they have the wisdom of the Scriptures fulfilled by Jesus Christ that was the bedrock by which they could live out their faith. Sometimes we can find ourselves in a similar place as the Corinthians and are tempted to think that we are alone in our spiritual journey when we have to handle difficult situations or don’t have the insight when we have to make important life decisions or defend our faith.
Maybe you are at a threshold today where you have to make a very important decision, or you feel confused or are filled with anxiety.
Turn to God’s Word and trust the Holy Spirit who dwells within you to reveal God’s truth to you that will lead and guide you. It will also transform you and give you hope as you continue your journey.
