How to Pray God's Word When Life Is Hardਨਮੂਨਾ

Have you ever had a day like I had yesterday? I watched as my dear friends told their little girl that her brother would not be coming home. My heart was shattered, but I just kept thinking about the incredible faith they showed during that moment. They had a strength that only Jesus could have provided and a peace that could have only come from God. I don’t know how anyone gets through something like this without Christ.
I am so honored and blessed to know these godly people, to call them friends, and to look to them as mentors.
Maybe you are facing a situation where you need peace and comfort. Today we pray for peace. Can you join me as we pray God's Word and claim His promises for how to pray when we are grieving?
Pray God's Word With Me:
Lord, we know that you love us dearly and hate to see us grieve. Help us remember that one of your precious promises is to comfort those who mourn. Today we ask you to heal our broken hearts, bind up our wounds, and turn our sorrow into joy. Give us assurance that though we may be weeping in the night, rejoicing is coming in the morning. This world is filled with trouble but we rest in the fact that you have already overcome this world!
About this Plan

Sometimes the hardest time to pray is when life is hard, but that's the most important time to pray. What do we say when we don't understand our circumstances? These are the times we should pray God's Word and let God speak truth into our life.
