Beyond Beliefਨਮੂਨਾ

Doesn't it sometimes feel like our doubts are something we should keep to ourselves? We tend to treat them like hidden secrets we shouldn't share with anyone. We might be afraid of offending our friends, our parents, and maybe even God just by expressing our doubts out loud. So we keep them quiet and hope they go away on their own.
That's not what the Bible tells us to do with doubt. In fact, we're reminded to bring our doubts to God. Instead of pretending our questions and doubts just aren't there, we can ask God for wisdom to address them head-on. God's not scared of our questions and wants to give us the wisdom to deal with them. But we can't really address those questions until we acknowledge that they exist.
Maybe you're wondering why bad things happen to people we love and care about. Maybe you're wondering if you can really trust the Bible. These are all big topics, and there's nothing wrong with wanting some wisdom about how to address them — all you have to do is ask.
So, be honest about your doubts and bring them to God. You're not the only one asking these questions. In fact, you might find the answers you're looking for were closer than you thought.

About this Plan

The Bible is full of statements and stories that seem "beyond belief." Some sound too miraculous — like, did God really split a whole sea in half? Other things sound too good to be true — like, is God really as loving, patient, or powerful as Scripture says? If you've ever wondered if what the Bible says is really worth believing, this devotional is for you.
