DAY 7: Testify!

When you truly encounter God, something significantly shifts in your life and heart into a posture of declaring to others what God has done in your life. If I were to meet and have an encounter with a famous celebrity or sports star, I would immediately begin to tell people of the opportunity I had and the experience I had with that certain person. When we encounter Jesus, it ought to trigger a response in our hearts that would desire to testify to our family and friends about how good God is and what He did in our hearts!

There is power when we testify to others, what God has done in our life. The healing He brought, breakthrough He brought, deliverance we encountered, power we encountered--it all carries power to stir others that they can encounter the same thing in God when we testify. The Bible says we conquer the enemy with the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. We conquer the enemy by testifying of what God has done for us! Let’s be the generation that doesn’t stay quiet after camp, but testifies everywhere about the goodness of God and what he has done for us!

Prayer: God, thank you that you have always met and encountered your people. Help me share my faith with others; help me be bold and strong. I know you're with me. Amen.
