Faith Through a Burning Bushਨਮੂਨਾ

Introducing the Two Asks
There are certain stories in the Bible that we have heard and read many times over. Sometimes we feel as though we know them so well, we tend to skim over the passages or tune out the speaker. But the Bible always has something to teach. Even stories we think we know by heart can give fresh lessons through the Spirit.
This happened to me when reading about Moses’ encounter with God at the burning bush. A phrase I am quite sure I had read several times before caught my attention and changed the way I saw this Biblical story.
During this brief lesson, we will look at how God walked Moses through steps of faith. We will see how God asked Moses to take a small step before asking him to take a bigger one. While I think we can learn a lot from this example, this is not the only way God works to help us grow our faith. This is a method God used for Moses, and that He uses for us. But God is a very personal God who will work with each of us individually to best grow our faith.
Looking at Moses’ encounter with God over the next few days will help us pay attention to what God is trying to tell us. And how He may be trying to tell us.
