Week of Psalmsਨਮੂਨਾ

Part 1. Preparing your heart to be present with God. Allow yourself a moment in silence; acknowledging God is present with you. This moment can be as long or short as you need it to be to begin to feel settled. Perhaps take some time to notice your surroundings, to notice the small things and appreciate the moment you’re in. This can be a grounding moment to help you stay present.
Part 2. Slowly read through Psalm 139: 1-12. Be encouraged to approach scripture with simplicity, with no pressure to immediately grasp every verse accurately.
Part 3. Questions for personal reflection. Give yourself time to journal as you think upon these questions.
- Take a moment and write down any part of this scripture that stuck out to you. Then reflect on why it was highlighted for you.
- How can this passage help build confidence that you are seen by God?
- Is there any place you could go or find yourself in that God could not be there also? How can you acknowledge God is with you wherever you are, be it emotionally, mentally, or physically?
Part 4. Breath prayers are a simple way to engage with the passage throughout your day. You can take small moments throughout your day to engage with this prayer (consider setting several daily reminders on your phone). This is also a great way to calm yourself when you get flustered amidst the busyness of life.
Breath Prayer:
{inhale}
You are in all places...
{exhale}
You are a faithful presence...
