Two Kingdoms - Part 2ਨਮੂਨਾ

When He Comes
This passage is so clear. What we do here in this earthly kingdom matters in the Kingdom of God.
Go deep: Re-read verses 31-34. Verse 31 doesn't say "if" the Son of Man comes but WHEN. And what happens WHEN He comes? Our actions on earth will be recounted. Have you ever fed the hungry or given a drink to someone who was thirsty? Why or why not? Have you ever given away your clothes to the needy or taken care of the sick or imprisoned? Again - why or why not? What motivates you to help or serve others? What stops you?
Be bold: Choose one thing you can do today to help someone in need. Don't just do it because you feel guilt or fear of being judged. Ask God to help you WANT to help others. Ask Him to soften your heart toward others. Boldly seek out the people in this earthly kingdom who need the people of God's Kingdom to show love and compassion. Then, invite your small group to join you!
Memorise it: “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ - Matthew 25:40 NIV
