How to Love Like Jesus Loves (Even When It’s Hard!)ਨਮੂਨਾ

In English, we have just one word for love. But in other languages, there are different words for different kinds of love. You might have family love, or romantic love, or friendship love. Or sometimes we say “love” about something we really like. For example, “I love volleyball” or “I love puppies” or “I love Brussels sprouts.”
The love that the Bible often talks about is “agape” (ah-gah-pay) love, and it’s the kind of love Jesus showed us on the cross. It’s a love that chooses what is good for other people, even when we don’t feel very loving toward them. Agape is a love of sacrifice and devotion. This is the kind of love Jesus has for us, and it’s the greatest love there is!
