7 Devotions and Activities for Dads and Their Kidsਨਮੂਨਾ

Family Potluck and Faithful Fellowship
Activity: Have your kids each invite a friend over for a potluck. As you eat together, ask your guests what they love most about the dish they brought.
Did you know the phrase “breaking bread together” means to share a meal? In biblical times, they did not slice bread but broke off pieces of bread as they ate. Sharing a meal together is a holy experience. There is something amazing and magical about sharing a meal with others. Breaking bread is so important that it is featured as a predominant moment in Jesus’ ministry. He shared his Last Supper with his closest friends.
Remember that friends are the family we choose. Celebrate with friends often. What is your favorite meal? Who made the best-tasting dish? Whom did you have the best conversation with?
God in heaven, may we remember that sharing a meal is an opportunity to share some of ourselves.
