Holy Week: A Journey From Jesus’ Death to Resurrectionਨਮੂਨਾ

Tuesday: Jesus’ Authority Questioned
“By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?” These are just a few of the questions that Jesus was no doubt asked when He was on earth.
Throughout Jesus’ ministry, people were trying to figure Him out. How can He do these miracles? Even the wind answers to Him!
A.W. Tozer said, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” This statement reminds us of how fortunate we are to live in a time when we have the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us.
It can be so easy to let your circumstances and your experiences be the final authority of your view of God. We’re all guilty of it. But we need to let God’s description of Himself be our final authority when trying to “figure Him out.”
Prayer: God, You are big, mysterious, and loving. You are worthy of praise! Help me to understand You more and grow deeper in my relationship with You. Holy Spirit, guide me as I study.
About this Plan

You are beginning a journey through the most important week in history. Come along with us and recline with Jesus at the Passover table, linger in the silence of Holy Saturday, and experience the joy of Jesus’ Resurrection. Each day, we’ll look at what the gospels say about the events of Holy Week and walk through a simple prayer. We’ll follow the S.O.A.P. study method: Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer.
