Praying With Your Spouse: 3 Things to Prayਨਮੂਨਾ

Pray About Your Goals Together
One of the best things you can do for your marriage is to pray together with your spouse. Research has shown that couples who pray and read the Bible together at home have the highest rates of satisfaction in their marriages.
And that all sounds great, but listen to this.
A Gallup poll was done a while back that concluded…
“The divorce rate among couples who go to church together regularly is 1 out of 2–the same as among unbelievers. But the divorce rate among couples who pray together daily is 1 out of 1,153.”
That is a divorce rate of less than .1%.
It is mind-boggling to think that simply by praying out-loud together with our spouse is a near-guarantee that we will have a lasting marriage.
The thing is when we pray together, we are creating a bond between us too. We’re choosing to lay ourselves and our preferences down for the will of God to come to pass. And as believers, when we do that, our hearts change and become united with God, and also each other.
Today, I want to encourage you to pray about your goals together. Invite God into these goals and ask for His guidance and blessings.
