Elevate: Raising the Bar for Conversations About Media Literacyਨਮੂਨਾ

When was the last time you were afraid of something? Maybe it was a presentation you had to give in class, a roller coaster, or even a truly scary situation. Being fearful can hold us back at times but also save us from danger. While this Proverb doesn’t encourage us towards fear, it does suggest caution. Caution in how you act, caution with your decisions, and caution with what you say. When we think of putting our thoughts out for the world to see on the internet, it is wise to go slowly. Rushing ahead with reckless confidence can spread false information, hurt other people, or damage ourselves. This week, find at least two ways to post or repost something true or encouraging to other people. You can create the content yourself or share something from someone else who inspires you.
