Amplify in the Dawn - Living the Lord's Prayerਨਮੂਨਾ

DIVINE DELIVERANCE
WORD
Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. - Psalm 107:15
THOUGHT
Psalm 107 gives thanks while reflecting on the history of God’s relationship with his people, Israel. The verse above is repeated four times in this psalm. It exhorts thanksgiving from those the Lord has rescued, delivered, and given favor to. They’re repeated amid the story of Israel finding themselves in a predicament, their response is to turn to God for his help.
Each of the four times this verse is written, the Lord’s response is documented: he rescued them from distress and led them straight to safety (Psalm 107:6–7); “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; he snapped their chains (Psalm 107:13, 14); he healed them by his word, saving them from death (Psalm 107:20); and he calmed the storm (Psalm 107:29). Throughout Psalm 107 alone, many proclamations are found of the Lord’s loving and redemptive works for Israel, his people.
The final portion of Psalm 107 concludes by acknowledging God’s ability to turn the grimmest of situations around for good—for he is good and desires to forgive us and liberate us from the clutches of sin. He redeems and restores through his divine deliverance.
PRAYER - Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
Lord, you change deserts into pools of water. There is no dark situation beyond your reach and ability to deliver. You have been faithful when I have failed to be faithful. Thank you for hearing my cry when I said, “Lord help!” Thank you for your rescue, your deliverance, and the light of your salvation. Thank you for your forgiveness. Great are you Lord! Amen.
