Biblical Advice on Living Wellਨਮੂਨਾ

Do not fear
“God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
Yesterday, we read about fighting anxiety by giving your worries to God. Today we read about another reason not to fear. If we are children of God, His Holy Spirit dwells in us and fills us with power and love, and self-control.
When the people of Israel were about to enter their promised land and had to take this land from the mighty people living there, they needed encouragement. Their leader Moses told them: “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6). They were carrying out God’s commission, and therefore could trust in His help.
This promise still holds true for every believer, since Jesus Christ promised to be with them always, until the end of time (Matthew 28:20). It is clear He is not with us physically now, but He has sent His Holy Spirit to be with us — even to dwell within us. He is a never-ending source of power and love and self-control, even when we face opposition or challenges. In our fear and weakness, He is strong!
