Precious Moments That Count For Eternityਨਮੂਨਾ

Let Go and Let God
We are often confronted with the debate on ‘grace’ versus ‘works’. We all know that we have been saved by grace. Yet we have been called to ‘work out’ our salvation with the fear of God (Philippians 2:12).
‘Doing good’ implies living a life that manifests the character of Christ in us. There’s a constant battle within us to live the kind of life that God wants us to live. Some of us struggle with anger, while others with addictions. As human beings, we are bound to fail. But we have the assurance that God is looking out for us. We have the Holy Spirit, who is constantly guiding us back to the right path, whenever we take a wrong turn. Every time we set out to do something that is in line with God’s will, we are backed by heaven in all its might. We need to be mindful that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and powers of darkness.
Living such a life is far from easy. We need to ensure that we are filled with the Word of God. The Bible is a rich source of godly wisdom and encouragement. We not only learn from the actions of different people but are also reminded of God’s faithfulness in their lives.
As Matthew 19:26 says, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Let us not rely on our own strength, but surrender to God.
Prayer
God, as I surrender to You, make me the kind of person You want me to be. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
