Good to Knowਨਮੂਨਾ

Do you ever lie awake at night thinking about that one embarrassing moment from fourth grade that you can’t get out of your head? I know I do! There’s something in all of our pasts that we’ve done and ended up regretting. Everyone has made unwise decisions in their lives, and sometimes it holds us back from having a relationship with God. However, as we grow closer to God, we should seek wisdom. Things in this world hold us back from knowing God, things like friends we hang out with or what we do when no one is watching. Sometimes, we can’t turn away from those things and make the right choices ourselves. We need to ask God to give us wisdom so that we may truly know God. When I started following Jesus, I still hung out with the wrong people. At that moment, I needed God’s wisdom to make the right friends that would be wise influences in my life. Just like that time in my life, there will be times when we all need to turn to God for wisdom.
Today think about this question: Is there something holding me back from making wise choices? Talk to God about that thing. Ask God to help you make the next wise choice!
