Messy Christmasਨਮੂਨਾ

When life gets messy, we need wisdom. We don’t gain wisdom by accident. To be wise, we’ve got to go after it, and sometimes that means having people in our lives farther along in their faith we can talk to. Even Jesus practiced this! In this verse we see Jesus asking questions to the adults and teachers around Him, learning from others while He was still young.
This week, determine who you can learn from and who you want to grow to be more like. Then, reach out and have a conversation with them! Be honest and discuss something going on in your life where you could really use some guidance. God didn’t intend for us to live life alone. God created us to learn from each other as we become more and more like God.

About this Plan

“Joy to the world” is a catchy lyric, but real joy can seem totally impossible when life feels messy. When we think of “Christmas,” we think of “joyful celebration," but what happens when the holiday season doesn’t match what’s actually happening around us? We’ll discover that Christmas can still be a season of joy, even when life feels messy.
