Big and Smallਨਮੂਨਾ

We are Small, but God is Big
(It would be beneficial to read the Scriptures before beginning each day.)
I love Rube Goldberg machines. They are elaborate, complicated systems that accomplish simple tasks. Usually, they are many small things that work toward one bigger goal, but sometimes they can be a few big things that do something small. Try looking up some fun ones, and maybe try to make one yourself!
There are plenty of big and small things in life. Whether it be real, physical things like elephants or tiny ticks, or big and small moments that mark our lives like making our bed or our first day at a new school or job. We can even have big or small emotions that can change our whole day and steer our life in a certain direction.
Today we set the stage for the story of Job, talking about how Job was a righteous man who was well-off because of it. But our story takes some unexpected turns, and Job is left in a place where he feels small and must rely on God.
This can be a complicated story to process. Each day we will have a few questions to help get a conversation going to help process what we are reading.
Why did the devil want to test Job?
How did Job react when he became sick?
Have you ever dealt with something that made you upset? How should we deal with it and why?
How can we make God big in our lives?
