Daily Encounter Devotionalਨਮੂਨਾ

Deliverance is Easy in His Presence
In Matthew 6:13, Jesus continues to teach us how to pray, saying, “But deliver us from evil.” As you pray this, ask God to search your heart for anything that is not from Him. Do you feel any fear, anxiety, lack of control, lust, intrusive thoughts, etc.? Deliverance is easy in His presence because His yoke is easy and His burden is light(Matthew 11:30). Right now, pray, “Fear go, Holy Spirit come!” God is giving an eviction notice to each spirit that is not the Holy Spirit in your life.
Today in your daily encounter, read Romans 6 and meditate on this passage. Ask God what it means to be dead to your old self and fully alive in Him. Do you believe your old self has died and that sin no longer has dominion in your life? Stand up and walk in all that Jesus paid for you to walk in. What things are you allowing to permit because they’re familiar? Ask God to highlight any open doors to evil in your life. Declare that no spirit but the Holy Spirit is welcome in your life! Repent to God for allowing these doors to remain open. Now close them and tell those spirits never to come back! Walk in the new life that Jesus has purchased for you. Declare right now, “I am dead to sin and alive in Christ! I have been set free!”
Pray: Deliver me from evil. I declare no spirit, but the Holy Spirit is welcome in my life! Close any open doors to sin and evil in my life. God, I only want the life you paid for! Show me where I am not walking in Your freedom. You are my deliverer, and I trust You!
