Reroutingਨਮੂਨਾ

When we read our Bibles, it’s easy to be intimidated by the stories we come across. We can see the faith that Moses had coming up against Pharoah’s army, the strength of Samson that brought down a temple, or even the courage of Daniel left alone in a den with lions. We may even think there’s no way that our stories will ever have that weight. We think the things that we’ve done or the life that we’ve lived could never be redeemed to become like one of these inspirational stories. The good news is we don’t have to fall into this comparison trap. You may be surprised to know that you have more in common with these stories than you think! These stories are filled with imperfect people. We are all imperfect people. We’ve all done things we’re ashamed of, or made mistakes that derailed our plans, or let down the people that we love the most. But we are all also people who our Creator fully loves. God doesn’t see imperfect stories. Instead, God sees us for who we are: people who need Him. What story in your life do you want God to redeem? What story can you give over to God who, as the author of everything, has the ability to give you a new and perfect ending?

About this Plan

No matter the destination you’re trying to reach, the journey to get there comes with twists and turns instead of a straight path. We often have to reroute. In this devotional we’ll dive into what it looks like to reroute and find a new map along the journey. We’ll see many examples of God working to fulfill the plans He created for us.
