When was the last time you went for a run? Maybe a short run in gym class, a long run in your local park, or even just a mad dash to catch the bus on time. Here, Paul says that life is much like running a race. And, like in any race, there’s a choice: You can run to run, or you can run with a purpose. When you run with a purpose, you’re running toward something that matters. You’re running toward the ultimate prize—the prize of a life lived for Jesus. And running after that prize changes everything about your life, starting with your character!
This week, try to memorize this verse. Let it remind you to run with a purpose—toward Jesus—every day.
