If you've ever seen a good basketball game or played one, you know everyone has to play their part to score. If your team runs a play, but one person is missing from their post, points could be lost. God gifts everyone with something. These gifts could be singing, drawing, dancing, athleticism, playing an instrument, acting, being good at a subject in school, and so many more we can list in this devotional. God wants us to use these gifts that God in unique ways.
The Body of Christ operates like a good team. If you've never heard the term Body of Christ, it means anyone who follows and believes in Jesus is part of the Body or group. Today's verses tell us that we all work together to form the Body and when one part of the Body is hurting, we all feel the impact of that pain. When you've broken your arm, you can't just ignore it because your foot is okay. You always know when something is hurt. We are to give our gifts to show the world who Jesus is.
How can you use your gifts to honor Christ this week?
