It's easy to get caught up in our friendships and not realize who we surround ourselves with. We love our friends! That's why we're friends with them — but sometimes, it's hard to take a good look at our friends' character. It can be scary to think about having to walk away from a friendship if they're not helping us grow.
Who we spend time with has a big influence on us. Whether your close friends know Jesus or not, it's important to recognize how they support your growth. Are the people you spend the most time with positively impacting your life? Are they encouraging, or do they gossip and cause dysfunction? Either way, their influence on your life matters.
Take some time to reflect on your friendships and ask Jesus to open your eyes to the kind of friends you surround yourself with.
