All About the Holy Spiritਨਮੂਨਾ

What does the Holy Spirit do in our lives?
Imagine being one of the disciples who watched Jesus ascend into heaven. Think about how concerned you might have felt at the thought of going through life without Jesus beside you. As you’re processing this, imagine the overwhelming power of the Holy Spirit suddenly comes upon you and empowers you to be bold, courageous, and faith-filled.
This is what happened to the disciples not long after Jesus’ ascension into heaven. And the same Holy Spirit who descended upon the disciples then, is still at work today.
If you consider yourself a follower of Jesus, then the Holy Spirit is with you, encouraging you to live a life that honors God and inspires others. Even during hard times, God’s Spirit will be with you to encourage and comfort you.
You are never far from God’s presence, but living a Spirit-filled life requires intentionally seeking God every day. It’s through spending time with God that you become familiar with the Holy Spirit’s power, presence, and authority.
As you pursue Jesus and seek God’s will, the Holy Spirit will be there to guide you, teach you, and reveal His wisdom to you. The Holy Spirit lives within you to help you determine what is right and wrong, and to give you access to His knowledge so that you can understand what pleases God.
Pray:
Father God, thank You for choosing to be near me every day of my life. Help me to be open to Your Spirit’s guidance and teaching because I want to live a life that glorifies and honors You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
