Real Hope: Discovering Hope Through Josephਨਮੂਨਾ

People See God In You
Though Joseph was sold as a slave by his brothers, God never left his side. Joseph had no family or friends – but he had God’s presence. His master could see "that the LORD was with him" and could see the favour of God upon Joseph’s life. Joseph was blessed – wonderfully blessed – even in the house where he was a slave. Joseph showed Potiphar that God was real. By Joseph’s trust in God and his diligent work, Joseph allowed his light to shine out naturally for all to see.
Jesus spoke to His disciples saying, ‘You are the salt of the earth…’ and, ‘You are the light of the world…’ (Matthew 5:13–16 ESV). God’s people are to live in the world in such a way that the world is affected by them.
Just because you are going through trials and problems does not mean that God is not blessing you. You might not see Him moving in your life, but just trust Him and, in His time, He will manifest His presence, His glory and His power for all to see.
