Finding Enough in a World of More ਨਮੂਨਾ

A DEEP LONGING

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst”. John 6:35

We are spiritual beings. We all have a deep longing within us: hunger and a thirst for more. Human desires will never be satisfied with natural solutions. We cannot satisfy our spiritual needs with wealth, success, or fame. We long for deeper.

Jesus came to satisfy that which would otherwise go unsatisfied - to quench our spiritual hunger and thirst. To fill the gap which can only be filled by knowing Him personally.

We can know Him today by accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour. Accepting His death on the cross, and His resurrection means we can have life. Through Him, the deep longing within us can be satisfied. In relationship with Jesus, we are fulfilled.

Today, let’s come to Jesus. Let him satisfy that deep longing in our hearts. Let his presence wash over us and quench our spiritual thirst.
