God performed many miracles through the prophet Elisha in the Old Testament. One day, a widow came to Elisha and asked for his help. Her husband was a good friend of Elisha’s, but since he was dead, she had no way of making money for herself. All that she had was a jar of olive oil. Elisha instructed her to take that oil and pour it into other jars, and when the woman did this, God multiplied her oil and gave her enough to take care of her family!
Sometimes we feel like we have nothing to offer God- maybe you think you don’t have any extra money, time, or talents. But God doesn’t ask us to bring him anything except what we already have. He can take what you have and use it to bless him and others- he just asks us to come to him ready with what he’s already given us.
