Wake Up!ਨਮੂਨਾ

IT’S TIME TO YIELD TO GOD’S SPIRIT
Do you find that you have desires greater than worshipping the Lord? Yielding to God’s Spirit means desiring and prioritizing Him above all else. Ephesians 5:18 says, “Be filled with the Spirit.” So my question to you is: are you getting your daily fill of Jesus?
When you are filled with the Spirit, you will not be tempted to lay your head back on your comfy pillow and fall back to sleep. The Holy Spirit will keep you from taking Satan’s sleeping pills or allowing the enemy to lull you back to sleep with any more of his lullabies. When you are Spirit-filled, you will refuse to sit comfortably in your La-Z-Boy chair and remain complacent with life.
Picture a gas tank. This tank can be a representation of our souls, and many of us have been running on empty or half-filled. We know we should fill our tanks to full capacity, but oftentimes we only put in the bare minimum at the gas station: five or ten dollars as needed just to get us to the next destination. God wants to fill our tanks to the fullest! When the tank starts to get empty, we need to go to Him to fill our souls back up.
Now that you are awake, tell someone! Dive into the Word, get into a community, and wake up your brother or sister in Christ! It is time to shut the door on the enemy and sound the alarm as we wake up and realize Satan is attacking our marriages, children, and everything we have. I am praying God will reveal all things within your spirit, so you may yield to Him today, tomorrow, and always.
