Psalms Streak: A Daily Devotional in the Psalmsਨਮੂਨਾ

The Lighthouse
The lighthouse has become an inspirational structure for many of us. To the sailors, it represents safety. To those in danger, it represents refuge. To those waiting for their loved ones, it represents hope. Every one who seeks guidance can find it in Jesus, the light that shines through the darkness. Psalm 43:3 – “Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell.” The lighthouse represents Jesus. When we find ourselves in darkness, whether it is spiritual, personal, or even physical darkness, we need to let God and His word (captured in the Bible) be our lighthouse.
GO DEEP: Find 5 (or more) verses that act as a lighthouse for you - that guide you closer to God. Write them out and post them around your room so you can look to them for guidance when you feel discouraged.
BE BOLD: Who needs to hear this? Who could you share it with?
