God's Plan - Discovering God's Good Designਨਮੂਨਾ

You Have A Purpose
When you remember who you are, you will know that you have a purpose. God’s plan for you is to know you are His child and for you to be a part of bringing heaven to earth. While God could accomplish His plan on earth without our help, He still invites us to be a part of His plan by inviting us to show the world who He is.
Jesus told the disciples (and us) in Matthew 5 that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. When we live out our identity as God’s children, we bring flavor to the world. We bring light to places that are dark. But we do not do this to draw attention to ourselves; our goal is so that others see God in us and give Him the glory!
Jesus called us to love one another. When we live in the love that He has for us, we should extend that love to the world around us. When we love others the way Jesus loves us, the world will see Jesus through the way that we live. It may not be easy, because people can be hard to love, but it is a commandment that Jesus gave to us. Love God, and love people. This is our purpose–to love the world around us so that they will see God and choose to love Him too.
Prayer: God, thank You for giving me purpose. Help me to love the world around me and to be a walking picture of You in the world. My prayer is that people will see more of You and less of me, Jesus. Amen.
Thanks for completing this reading plan! We pray that this helped you get connected to Jesus. We would love to hear from you on how God used this plan in your life. Keep the conversation going by emailing us at keeptalking@secc.org.
