Jonah 2 Following Jesus When You’d Rather Run Awayਨਮੂਨਾ

True Freedom Isn’t Free
Freedom comes with a price. God didn’t just calm the sea. God did not just free us from our sins. It took Jonah giving up his life. It is only after complete repentance does God free him by letting the big fish he was in vomit him out. Freedom might not always look like what we expect. I'm sure Jonah would have chosen another way besides being vomited out. I’m sure Jesus would have chosen another way to save us (if there was one) other than the cross. But there was no other way. And that's why He paid the penalty of our sins with His life.
