The Names of Jesusਨਮੂਨਾ

THE WORD
The name “the Word” is essential. When God speaks, it happens. Could you imagine it would happen that God would say, let there be light, and nothing happened? That would be strange, wouldn’t it? When the Word spoke, the whole earth was formed (John 1:3). When the Word speaks, life is given to everything that was created (John 1:3). Everything was created through the Word.
When the Word of God goes out, it will never return empty. It will always do what it was sent out to do!
Isaiah 55:11: “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”
On the cross, the Word spoke, “It is Finished!” All the work to start life in the new covenant had been done at that time. For the Word said, “It is finished”, He had carried all the sins of the world and sacrificed Himself on the cross. The only thing we need to do is stand up in His resurrection! We have been saved by His grace. His redemptive work continues in our lives as we are being changed from Glory into Glory.
What has the Word spoken to you lately? He still speaks! He still wants to accomplish all that God wants it to do in your life.
