What a Beautiful Nameਨਮੂਨਾ

In a royal castle, there's a special room where the throne is. Guess what this room is called? It’s called ‘the throne room’! The throne is the special ceremonial seat the king or queen sits on. It may have red or purple velvet, ornate gold decoration, and be on an elevated platform so the king or queen sits above everyone else in the room. People would need special permission to enter the throne room and must bow or curtsey and give honour to the king.
Jesus was a new kind of king. Instead of a king on a throne, Jesus was a king on a cross. Jesus didn’t come to stay in a castle and sit on a velvet throne. Instead, Jesus came to give His life for us. Jesus died on the cross and rose again so that we could be forgiven. Through Jesus we can come to God anytime we want. We don’t need special permission to approach God.
Imagine your heart has a throne and whoever or whatever sits there is in charge of your life. Who or what is sitting in that seat? We can choose to place Jesus on the throne of our hearts and make Him the king of our lives.
