Courage - Standing Tall - Trusting Godਨਮੂਨਾ

In 2019, I began visiting the hospital waiting room. I wanted to demonstrate Christ's love to those under stress. If all I could do was converse caringly, I would have been happy. If I could pray with them, I would have been happier. if I could have explained to them how to become a follower of Jesus Christ, I would have been ecstatic! At first, I was fearful. I didn't want rejection.

• But, then, I memorized Exodus 4:11-12. He promised me "Who has made man's mouth? (image above) Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say." Five YouVersion reading plans called "Gone Fishin'" are the result. Many inspiring stories came out of that adventure! Take Courage. God wants to give it to you - whatever you're facing today.
• I keep notes in my MemLok Mobile app (Scripture Memory). I see in my notes on Deuteronomy 31:8 three situations where I needed Courage! I was concerned I had prostate cancer. The renter of a property I own was arrested for drugs in the home, and pain in my right hip caused me to say "Am I going to have to have my other hip replaced?! This scripture "The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you...do not fear." was just what I needed to have courage in each of these in God's strength, not mine. How about you? • Joshua had a whole country to conquer, including a big fortress. Joshua 1:9 promises "God is with me wherever I go". That gives me the courage to face my giants. How about you? Consider memorizing these verses!
