Daily Strength for Couplesਨਮੂਨਾ

A Reliable Partner
Reliability is an important trait for any couple. There’s vast security in having someone who sticks with you. We experience perfect reliability with God, and from Him we can learn qualities that will enhance our marriages. The first is compassion: caring about what touches the heart of our spouse. There is graciousness, the ability to dispense mercy when needed. A slow response to anger is another important trait that will benefit our relationships. Step back and take a deep breath when needed, and don’t lash out in anger.
The final two traits that God shares with us in Exodus 34:6 are love and faithfulness. Those vows we took on our wedding day “to love and to cherish,” and “until death do us part,” are real promises. Let us also vow to always be the one our sweetheart can depend on, no matter what situation arises.
