Bible in a Yearਨਮੂਨਾ

All right, we’re just getting started studying the kings of Israel. It’s a lot to keep up with...
-The book of 2 Kings covers nearly 40 kings between the North and South Kingdoms of Israel.
-The South Kingdom (Judah) has some good kings and some bad kings, while the Northern Kingdom (Israel) has only bad kings.
-Whereas Israel changed dynasties with nearly every new king, Judah maintained one dynasty, the line of David, until its eventual subjugation by the Babylonian Empire.
-This book covers the history occurring at the same time as many of the prophetic books of the Bible. It gives helpful historical context to many of the minor and major prophets with their books of the Bible.
