Bible in a Yearਨਮੂਨਾ

We’re a little more than halfway through the minor prophets. Next up is Nahum:
-Nahum writes some 100 years after Jonah ministered to Nineveh.
-Nahum speaks to Judah, predicting God’s impending judgement on Nineveh which would come in the form of the Babylonian rebellion against the Assyrians.
-Nahum speaks about Nineveh but not to Nineveh. It served as an object lesson to the Israelites of God’s desire and willingness to judge and punish sin and rebellion.
