Pure Decisions Create Pure Powerਨਮੂਨਾ

God seeks what is pure.

God is looking for those who will carry around the characteristic of purity. God is pure, and since we are to reflect Him, we need to strive for purity in every sense of the word. If we are truly committed to Him, we will strive for purity in our lives because pure decisions create pure power.

James encourages us with a fantastic promise in 4:8 "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded." As we move, He moves. It's an active choice to purify our hearts. It takes time, and it takes reflection; it takes acknowledgment and repentance. We rid ourselves of the unstable life double-mindedness can throw us into as we do this. By declaring God has renewed and transformed us into being pure and seeking to pursue a lifestyle of purity, our decisions get made for us. If something presents itself and is in line with purity outstanding, we proceed. If not, we turn away and don't look back. 

If we wonder why our signal may be weak or stop feeling connected with God, we have to look inward and see what is disrupting that signal. Remove the clutter, distractions, etc., and reinstate our identity as a child of The King!

Lord, Thank you that you look for those whose hearts are fully committed to you. Today I choose to pursue a lifestyle of purity that would glorify and honor you. Strengthen me as I purify myself from all distractions, disruptions, thoughts of lust, greed, anger, gossip, ill will, and any other ideas that are not in alignment with the intention you created me to reflect. In Jesus' name, Amen.
