Walking in the Wildernessਨਮੂਨਾ

Beauty In The Wilderness
There is so much beauty to be discovered in the wilderness. The Bible says, Jesus would "often slip away to the wilderness and pray."
Jesus regularly withdrew to escape the noise and frenzy of society and to be alone with His Father, where He could give Him His full attention. This was as much a part of His life and ministry as healing the sick, teaching, and mentoring His disciples. It’s how Jesus began His ministry. It’s how He made important decisions. It’s how He dealt with the constant demands, and cared for His soul. It was how He prepared for His death on the cross.
Strengthened in solitude.
He invited His disciples to join Him, saying, "Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while" (Mark 6:31). Jesus invites us also to join Him in His solitude, a sacred space – so we can know God as our Father. We can all so easily get caught up in all that we "have to do" that we forget to do the things that we need to do.
We need to rest, withdraw, and discover the beauty that is found only in solitude – beauty in the wilderness.
