Using Our Money God's Wayਨਮੂਨਾ

SAVE
Saving money doesn’t really sound fun. There are lots of cool and interesting things out there we can buy, and we can even borrow money so we can buy things that might be a bit too expensive for us right now.
But in the Bible, God says saving is a smart thing to do. When we save some of our money, we can be confident we’ll be prepared when something comes up later — like to buy something we really need or maybe even to help us (or a friend) out in an emergency.
Proverbs 21:20 says a wise person stores food up so there is a supply for the future, but foolish people eat all they have.
Saving isn’t always easy, but it shows we are being wise with what God has given us!
Family Discussion Questions: Why is saving money a wise thing to do? What is something you would like to save money for? Is there something you can do now to start saving money?
Pray: God, thank You for giving us all that we have. Please help us to honor you by handling our money well. Help us to have the wisdom to save some of the money we earn. Amen.

In this three-day family devotional, we’ll learn how to give God’s way — by giving the first tenth of our money to God, saving some for later, and spending what’s left in a God-honoring way.
