Making Jesus Kingਨਮੂਨਾ

When you choose to follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live in you. The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to us to speak to us, guide us, and show us what’s best. When we make Jesus our king, the Spirit transforms us into a new person and produces fruit in our lives. There’s a list of the “fruits of the spirit” in the book of Galatians. These fruits are the qualities that the Spirit will produce as we follow Jesus and become more like him. If you’ve chosen to make Jesus your king, the Spirit is living with you! He will help you to keep putting Jesus on the throne, even when it’s difficult. On the days when it seems impossible to keep choosing Jesus, ask the Holy Spirit for help. The Spirit will help you, and he will produce fruit in your life as a result.

Challenge: Take a look at Galatians 5:22-23. Choose one of the “Fruits of the Spirit” that you want to work on, and spend time asking the Holy Spirit to help grow that fruit in your life.
