Moments for Mums: Refreshing - Part 2ਨਮੂਨਾ

Tiredness—the kind that seems to come from deep within that no amount of sleep seems to fix—is a red flag for me. I recognise this as an indicator that I am trying to solve all the problems on my own, take on more than I can carry, and do it all in my own strength. Lack of trust drives this behaviour.
I don’t trust others around me to do their part so do it for them. I fear that opportunities will be missed so grab on to everything. I ultimately don’t trust God to protect and provide for me.
I find new strength when I release that need for control and trust that I am secure in God’s promises. I am learning to keep coming back to that place. Then I can run, do what is before me to do, and soar.
Question
Where have you been operating in your own strength? Get honest with God about the lack of trust. He wants an authentic relationship with you.
Prayer
Lord, I confess that I don’t always trust you and try to do it all on my own. I need you to renew my strength as I choose to trust in you.
