Embrace the Race: Persevering Through Challenging Timesਨਮੂਨਾ

Led by the Spirit
When we yield our lives to the Holy Spirit, he will direct us to where he wants us to be. When I was attending Bible School, I knew God called me to ministry, but I did not know what I would do after graduation. I desired to be used by God but had no idea where He wanted me to go.
The apostle Paul had a similar experience of striving to be used by God but not knowing where to go until he received direction in the form of a dream. Upon hearing from the Lord, he immediately set out in this new direction in obedience to the spirit's leading.
Paul was heading in a completely different direction, and though it seemed like it was the right direction for him to do ministry, the Holy Spirit had other plans. Sometimes we don't always understand why God leads us in specific ways, but we can see He guides us when we look back. In this situation, because Paul listened to the Holy Spirit, he saw greater fruit in his ministry than if he had gone on to Asia. When we choose to yield our lives to the Holy Spirit, we can save ourselves a lot of wasted time and pain in life. We need to trust the Holy Spirit's leading and know he will always direct us into God's perfect will for our life.
Daily Challenge
Am I actively seeking the Holy Spirit to guide me each day? Pray and ask God to direct and redirect your steps as you continue to strive to honor him.
