Unfair?! An Introduction to Habakkukਨਮੂਨਾ

God isn't impotent or indifferent to injustices in the world. His day of reckoning is coming. We must cry out with Habbakuk: 'in Your wrath, please remember mercy!'
The day of judgement is too late to familiarise ourselves with the God of justice. We need to make our peace with Him today, before it's too late. We do so through the blood of Jesus.
Why doesn't God bring justice today? Because we are part of the problem, and if He was to bring justice today, we would be swept away. Thankfully today is a day of grace, to turn from our injustices to God, who in Christ is both just and the justifier of the ungodly.
God is sovereign over pandemics and problems great and small. Christ delays His return to give us opportunity to repent and to believe the good news of salvation in Him. May God have mercy upon us, sinners that we are!
'God, have mercy upon us, sinners that we are. May we turn to You before it's too late, for Jesus's sake, amen.'
Are you ready for God's day of reckoning?
